We take the time to educate our clients on how your automotive finish works. here is a breakdown of your vehicle's painted surfaces:

Two Types of Products
Chemicals used to restore your paint's finish can be categorized two ways. Abrasives are products such as compounds, clay, and polishes. Protectants are products such as waxes and glazes. For the best result you should use an abrasive, then a protectant, each time.

Using Abrasives
When imperfections are created in your vehicle's clear coat (such as scratches, scuffs, swirl marks, cobwebs or holograms), they can be removed by using abrasives to take off a layer of clear coat. If the imperfections have penetrated the clearcoat into the paint, they can only be repaired by adding paint. Don't worry, you have lots of clearcoat on your vehicle and abrasives only take off a microscopic layer!

Using Protectants
Waxes and glazes are used after abrasives. They help to protect your paint from the elements but will not keep all imperfections from occurring. Different types of waxes and glazes will give different levels of shine. Some last longer than others.
